“ Massive thank you to the wonderful staff here on sunday 18th may. My daughter is autistic and although really wanted to go in, as we have before, was struggling tonight. The staff were patient, accommodating and even set up a different table for her (not east as it was a party of 8 and 5 already seated). You really dont know what a difference that made to our night. Thank you beyond words! Truly wonderful people. As always food was lovely too ”

“ We went last night for the first time in about 3 years. It was fantastic just like we remembered. Fillet steak was cooked perfectly, and chicken rosemary was also delicious. Staff were amazing (think his name was chris or steven ) I told I’ve give him a shout out on my review. We didn’t book but I recommend you do because it’s very busy, they managed to squeeze us in (table for 2) . The price of the food is the usual you would expect but WAY better than ANY other Italians. Hats off to the chef (hope you enjoyed ur shandy :). ) Highly recommend. Will DEFO return. 10/10 all round . You will not be disappointed if you visit this place . But be warned, once you have ate here all other places you visit after will NEVER live up to it. ”

“ 7 of us visited on 4th September in the evening and had a mixture of steak, chicken and fish dishes. All were delicious, served with a smile and in an overall great atmosphere. Our party included 2 friends visiting from Australia and they loved it. It was nostalgic as we came here with a large group of friends and family 41 years ago in the evening after our wedding, so fantastic that it's still here. Thank you for a lovely night. ”
“ Me and my fiance dined here recently while spending time in Sunderland. We loved it so much, we went back a second time in less than a week. The pizza, garlic bread, and Tagliatelle Carbonara were amazing! The portions were generous. It has a cozy atmosphere with very friendly staff, with attention to detail (we were never thirsty waiting for a drink). Now that we're home, we often talk about how we wish we could just walk down the road to dine there again... We may have become a little obsessed with this place! My fiance just read what I've written and said "Just say it was heaven! Simple". ”

“ Good safety measures in place for the current climate. Lovely venue, warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff were great and couldn't do enough to help. Food was served in good time and was excellent in quality and potion size. Great value for money. Recommended to us by friends who are local and this won't disappoint. New photos are from a more recent visit and this place still doesn't disappoint. ”
